I have been working Tiago for about two months. I like that we start our lessons with conversation that is organic. Sometimes that leads to other topics and he takes every opportunity to teach vocabulary or nuances about the language or Brazilian culture. He uses visual and written words often which is very helpful for me. I also enjoy the reading that we do, sometimes music which is a great springboard for vocabulary. I am feeling more confident with listening and speaking since starting with Tiago!

Laura is a highly motivated Portuguese teacher with a great insight to Brazilian culture. Her lessons are always fun and educational. Laura always ensures that I have a good understanding of material being taught before moving on. I really feel that it has been a great learning experience working with Laura and I look forward to more classes and improving my Portuguese language skills further

A lesson was so fun and worth it. I enjoyed talking with my teacher in Portuguese during the lesson. She suggested me some expressions when I couldn't use proper words in the conversation. It helped me a lot to widen my vocabulary.

I have completed 6 classes with Laura and she is great! It has been helpful to learn both verb conjugations and themed vocabulary words in each class to give me a mix of grammar, vocab, and culture. She always checks in to see what questions I have, if I'm understanding as we go along, and makes sure the planned material for the next course is something that feels relevant to learn (I am going to Brazil soon so we are preparing some things specific to that). She is also based in a time zone that works really well with my PST work schedule, and that makes it easy for us to schedule classes more regularly. Overall I highly recommend Laura! :)

Highly recommend classes with Daniel, he is extremely friendly and easy to talk to. He catered my portuguese class to my limited knowledge of Spanish, and the speed I want to learn at so that he could help me make connections and learn faster. I live in Asia, and Daniel is extremely accommodating on timing, waking up to have class at 5am in his timezone.

GiGi is a wonderful Portuguese teacher. She always encourages her student. She gives good stimulation to engage with her student. You feel comfortable when learning from her. Probably you laugh a lot in class as well. Definitely I recommend her to you.

Great lesson. Starting to move from my first goal of holiday Portuguese, to conversational Portuguese. Daniel is pushing me forward while not overwhelming me with how big this could be and making it fun, rather than boring.

Emmanuel is very enthusiastic in teaching and sharing Portuguese culture as well as the language. He encourages me to speak in simple Portuguese sentences and helps me gaining my confidence in learning the language. He has made the lesson very interesting.

Time passes quickly in Daniel's lesson as it is fun and stressless. Pedro is an amazing Portuguese teacher I've ever had. In just 3 months, starting from scratch, I'm now able to communicate with the locals here in Portugal. He has an incredible teaching style – super organized and very structured, always tuning in to what I'm saying, fixing my pronunciation, and throwing in the perfect phrases for the conversation. I've learned so much from him, especially on getting that authentic Portuguese accent just right and has been a game-changer for me as a newbie here in Portugal. What I like the most is that he knows how to spot your weak spots and turn them into strengths. Totally recommend him!
