It was a fantastic lesson! Dr. Mathilde taught me a lot of prepositions, the days of the week in French, and reviewed content learnt in previous lessons. She also covered some useful phonetics to help me with my pronunciation. I learnt a lot! Can't wait for the next lesson.

I’ve been the last few lessons with Julia. We do a little bit of everything, but it’s fun because it keeps things interesting! We first discuss my questions regarding the material I’m reading the preschool class and sometimes I read the material to Julia so that she can provide me with feedback on my pronunciation and comprehension. Then we have been going through a list of “getting to know you” questions that Julia prepared and it has been very helpful to inspire conversation that is very interesting and leads to more conversation. I always look forward to my lessons with her! I learn something new every time and there is always more to learn and talk about for the next time. Merci, Julia!

Alizee is a patient teacher who speaks several languages. She asked for my goals of studying French and provided some tasks for me. Then we discussed the arrangement of lessons to see how to attain the goal. She is resourceful, talkative and attentive in listening.

Her classes have a clear structure and defined objectives so I was able to follow through and make progress steadily. She also assigns homework to reinforce learning post-class. She is very personable and warm, and able to point out my areas to improve and provide support along the way.

Although it was only a trial class, I can see that Ariane prepared for the class and deep-dived to know each other during the class. It was an awesome experience and I will definitely have more classes with her.
