I’ve almost finished the 30 chapters of idioms, and I’ve learned a lot from them. Now, I’m going to focus on the textbook, as the grammar is getting more challenging. 선생님, 앞으로 잘 부탁드립니다!

Fun and easy going introduction where we could introduce ourselves and discuss briefly the goals from the tuition. Kimmy led with Korean, which I appreciated, but also switched into English when I was struggling.

Mimi is excellent teacher. The teacher would stay on one chapter for a longer time, which was different from the teachers I had met before. She repeatedly used different methods to practice listening, speaking, reading and writing. This helped me strengthen my memory. Compared with previous teachers who would quickly finish the lesson and jump to the next chapter, I feel that this kind of practice makes it easier to forget.

The teacher always ensures I am able to pronounce words / sentences correctly . I enjoy all the lessons I have with my teacher . She always makes learning fun and the way she teaches me things that will help specifically in my life ( job wise and life wise).

I was very thankful that Shannon went over our previous lessons and did a bit of a review for me today. It was really helpful because we have learned many things. I really appreciate how patient she is when I'm thinking very hard. She doesn't rush me to answer and lets me make mistakes. Even though Korean is hard and I feel like I am struggling, I have a lot of fun in Shannon's lessons!

I liked how she went over my homework and how we finished the small part left of the chapter. I like how when we start a new chapter, she teaches me some added things that aren't part of the chapter but are very useful.

Everytime when taking Teacher Bella's classes, I always have a great time! Learning Korean can be so fun with Teacher Bella~~ Thank you for sharing detailed notes after and during each class~

It’s music class today, we listen to lots of beautiful old songs and to conclude that good songs never gets old, appreciated every classes we had together, looking forward to next class.

We learned about the Korean numbering system today, and it was a bit confusing at first because there are two different systems. Fortunately, Lily patiently explained the differences between them and clarified when to use each one.

Today, we have learned N 하면 to express the characteristics that come into mind about the preceding noun. V-다시피 expresses the confirmation of a fact that the listener is already aware of, similar to "as you know", "as you hear", "as you guess" etc.

I’m really happy to be back in class. I plan to attend consistently once a week from now on. I also really like the plan we came up with to improve my speaking and reading skills. I’m looking forward to our future lessons!

Genie is a very good Korean teacher. The introductory class included a self introduction and a thorough review of vocabulary and grammar to assess my current proficiency. Genie's English is very good - - she was able to explain key concepts about Korean so I could understand and learn. Genie is kind, patient, and provides effective feedback and corrections. I enjoyed the class very much.

Class was great learning how to say the purpose of something and then learning the word with. We reviewed time as well and the numbers (which I still need work on but I'll get there). Teacher Dong-geon is a very patient and kind.

Julie is a really easy-going teacher who is able to provide one a safe and comfortable environment to practice speaking Korean! She is patient and understanding. She is definitely someone I would recommend if you are looking for a teacher to help practice your Korean awith in a stress-free and encouraging environment!

Great class! We did more newspaper article studying today and a follow-up review quiz. Areum Teacher’s feedback is always very helpful, and she’s especially good at teaching root words and hanja. Very satisfied, as always!

I’ve come to the stage where I could understand Mia 80-90% of the time and our conversation is always very interesting. We talked about our vacation in Thailand to our own values and experiences. Through our conversations I slowly picked up phrases and words and hope to further improve my communication skills in the future. 말하기 잘하고 싶은데, 말이 잘 안 나와서 답답해요. ㅎㅎㅎㅎ

I was so happy with my introduction lesson! Jieun dived right into teaching according to my learning goals, and I felt challenged but comfortable! She was patient if I made mistakes, and explained everything nicely! She has a great personality and I look forward to continuing to work with her and I move towards my goal of fluency in Korean! It was nice to feel challenged but at ease at the same time!

Teacher Sunny has been a great support for my son in his Korean language learning. He feels very comfortable interacting with her, and I’ve noticed that he’s more confident speaking in Korean during the class. He genuinely enjoys their time together, and I’m excited to see how much more he’ll grow with her guidance.
